Hi, I’m Kayla Carfield. Born and raised in Shelbyville, Kentucky, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for this community and the people who make it feel like home.
As a young woman and small-business owner, I believe in supporting local businesses, lifting one another up, and creating something meaningful in the hometown that raised me.
Outside the restaurant, I’m also a proud horse owner with a love for the American Saddlebred industry. Being part of the horse community has taught me the importance of dedication, hard work, and lasting relationships—values I bring into Milano every day.
Most of all, I genuinely love serving our customers. Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting for the first time, my hope is that you feel welcomed, appreciated, and right at home.
